[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he National Socialist council of Nagaland, Chakhesang Region, led by Mr, Thopevezu, Kilonser Law and Justice, NSCN (K) has decided to resign along with all regional workers and authorities en-masse and extend their support to the National Socialist Council of Nagaland-Reformation led by Mr. Wangtin Naga and P.Tikhak.
Their decision to support Mr. Wangtin Naga and P.Tikhak came after it was thoroughly discussed and debated among the regional members. Our concern for our own brethrens in Eastern Nagaland will continue although we are parting ways for now due to un-avoidable circumstances. NSCN (K) has been badly misused by some vested interest people and it has become extremely difficult for us to continue our service under such circumstances when a handful of people have taken the national movement for a ride.
Moreover, the NSCN (K) seems to be directionless without any proper roadmap, leading to many unwanted and chaotic situation. It is a very sad moment for us as, the selfless sacrifices of the Chakhesang Region and the Chakhesang people to regain the right to self determination under the leadership of Baba Khaplang has been blown to smithereens.
We therefore, vow to strengthen the hands of young, energetic and charismatic leaders Mr. Wangtin Naga and P.Tikhak in rebuilding the Naga family in the spirit of love, compassion, forgiveness and reconciliation.
Mr. Thopevezu was also holding additional responsibility as over all supervisor of Chakhesang region, in NSCN (K).
