John 3:16 Society assists senior citizens with essentials in Mon

Kohima, July 2 (EMN): The Nagaland Senior Citizens’ Helpline, in collaboration with John 3:16 Society, distributed food items to the needy senior citizens in Mon district during the lockdown period.

Nagaland Senior Citizens’ Helpline on Friday informed that during the campaign under the banner "We care to help elders" reached out to 30 elderly beneficiaries with food items in Mon district during the Covid-induced lockdown.

It informed that the deputy commissioner of Mon had also circulated the information of the charity campaign to various non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and accordingly genuine candidates were surveyed and assisted with the items.
