DIMAPUR — The ANMA Integrated Development Association (AIDA) Don Bosco Job Placement Network, Dimapur, in collaboration with Don Bosco College, Kohima, the Ministry of Labour and Employment’s National Career Service Centre for Differently Abled, Dimapur and ST/SC Kohima, as well as Fernandus and Associate, Goa, organised a job fair on August 24 at Don Bosco College, Kohima.
The event aimed to provide job opportunities for young people in and around Kohima while raising awareness about local and state employment opportunities for the youth, according to an update.
The main objective was to offer job opportunities and one-on-one interview experiences for the youth in the region and to create awareness about available jobs in the locality and the state.
Speaking on the occasion, Rev. Dr. Fr. Tious Varghese SDB, principal of Don Bosco College, Kohima, offered insights into the opportunities of the job fair and encouraged the aspirants to seize the chance.
Time was also given for a brief introduction by the companies—Toka MPCS, SBI Life, Seyie Auto, Employment Providers, Fernandus and Associates (Goa), Quesscorp India, WICE Chennai, Chaiwaale Chennai, and a few schools from Assam.

The keynote address was delivered by Savio Visa, additional director of Employment, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.
Sebi Chacko, coordinator of Don Bosco Job Placement Network Dimapur, expressed appreciation in his address to all the organisers, supporters, collaborators, special guests, volunteers, and partners who contributed to the success of the event.
The job fair saw a turnout of over 500 candidates on the day, with more than 1,000 job vacancies available. Six companies attended the fair in person, while two others participated online.
