Dimapur, Oct. 5 (EMN): Jo Foundation Inclusive School celebrated Parents’ Day at the school campus on October 4 with principal secretary of School Education & SCERT, Menukhol John as the guest speaker.
John appreciated performances presented by the students of Jo Foundation and acknowledged the hand-written invitation he received from the school, informed an update from DIPR on Friday.
The principal secretary said the proprietors of the school Daniel Thong and Dr. Asunu Thong went through lot of challenges and hardships during the initial period of their journey but have become steward of blessings to many parents and students today. He congratulated them for taking a lunge to make Jo Foundation an inclusive school, terming it as ‘an Ark’.
He thanked the teachers of the school for their concern towards the students and nurturing them. He also called upon the students to obey their teachers and parents.
Chairman of Jo Foundation Daniel Thong in his welcome address said the institute is an inclusive school where special children can also study without any bias and prejudice. He added that the school teaches the students to develop empathy and not sympathy.
