The party’s president also underlined the aim and objectives of the party , saying that the JD (U) stands for equality and secularism with no place for communal politics.
On the development front, Lotha said that the party would work for the uplift and empowerment of the poor to make them self-reliant. “JD (U) stands for development with justice,” he said. NSN Lotha has appealed to the people for support while reminding them that ‘victory is for the courageous.’

Having served 35 years and six months as a government official, he pointed out ‘existing gaps and flaws in the system.’ He expressed his plans to “change” the system if given the opportunity.
Further, the candidate told his supporters that he had the experience and the acumen to lead and serve. He spoke also about various issues plaguing the assembly constituency stressed on the need to bring development and impact a change towards self-reliance.
