Dimapur, Oct. 19 (EMN): Intending candidate of Janata Dal (United) of 5 Ghaspani-II AC, Kitoho S Rotokha, undertook a tour on October 18 to Hozukhe, Nikhekhu and Nihokhu villages under 5 Ghaspani II AC and interacted with the villagers.
An update from JD (U) stated that the party officials from the parent body, youth wing and women wing accompanied the intending candidate. Interacting with the village elders, village council members, women organisations and youth bodies, Kitoho emphasised on the much needed positive changes in the society pertaining to development, employment for educated unemployed youth and to secure brighter future for upcoming generations.
He lamented that the present government has turned a blind eye to the basic needs of its citizens particularly 5 Ghaspani II AC. Alleging that corruption is at its peak in Nagaland, he opined that the only possible way out is to elect an upright and God-fearing leader to fulfill the aspirations of the people.
Among others who spoke in the meeting included Rokovitso Kuotso, GB of Medziphema town ward-8, president of Chümoukedima District GBs Union, Advocate Akhotso Kehie, and spokesperson of the JD (U) youth wing, Inoka Yepthomi.
