Jacob seeks support for all round development

Dimapur, Oct. 1 (EMN): Admitting that Nagaland government solely depended on the funds sanctioned by the central government to run the state of affairs whereby depriving the educated unemployed youth to accommodate in the government sector, the mister of Public Health and Engineering Department (PHED), Jacob Zhimomi, has sought the support and cooperation from all concerned to tide over the problem and come at par with other states of the country.

Jacob stated this during the inauguration of Unity Village gate at 5th Mile in Chümoukedima district on October 1. In his speech, Zhimomi paid tributes to all the pioneers, who have really work with like-minded Naga people together to established the village since 1984.

He stated that the village was recognised by the state government after 30 years in 2014, when he was the representative of the assemble constituency.

Zhimomi has described Unity Village as an well informed and intellectual village, who are well aware of the activities undertaken by the government.

On the occasion, Jacob also stated that the youth comprising 70% of the total population is the greatest strength of the nation. The minster further informed that he has already submitted a proposal for providing individual household tap water for Unity Village.
