Computer Science department of ICFAI University Nagaland (IUN) organises a one-day talk on the “Role of Internet of Things (IoT) in 5G Era” on February 17 with the participation of students and faculty members.
An update from the university informed that the programme was chaired by Nangjenkala of MCA 2nd semester and the welcome address was delivered by assistant professor and head of Computer Science, O Bhopen Singh.
It stated that the resource person, Dr. Nagaraju Baydeti, assistant professor of Computer Science and Engineering at NIT Nagaland, highlighted various aspects of 5G technologies in relation to the internet of things. He emphasised the importance of 5G in the current technological landscape and how it would shape the future of IoT.
The programme was followed with a question and answer session moderated by Kamal Hussain, lecturer of Computer Science.
It stated that the event was a huge success as the talk was well received by the students and faculty. It added that the participants have expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to learn more about cutting-edge technology. It stated that the students in particular found the talk to be helpful as it provided valuable insights into the various technological aspects of 5G.
It mentioned that the event was just one example of the commitment of ICFAI University Nagaland for providing its students with a well-rounded education that would enable them to prepare for the challenges of the 21st century.
