Dimapur, July 16 (EMN): World Youth Skills Day was celebrated at Government ITI Tuensang on July 15 on the theme “Skills for all.
Principal of Government ITI, Tuensang, Er. N Nyaksham Phom, who delivered the keynote address, spoke on the vision for improving our world with the power of skills. He also dwelt on the mission of recognising skilled people and achieving economic growth. He mentioned on the aims to advocate the need, value, result of skilled work and professional training for young people so that industries, regions and countries will thrive in global economy. He also elucidated that education and vocational trainings are key determinants for success in the labour markets.
He further called upon the youngsters to become tools for change, bridge the gap and be assets to the society for sustainable economic development and better livelihood.
