DIMAPUR — The Indian Red Cross Society Nagaland State Branch (IRCSN) observed World First Aid Day on the theme ‘First Aid in the Digital World’ at Red Cross Complex, Kohima, on Saturday
IRCSN managing committee member and first aid master trainer, Kholie Dolf and Dr. Nganshimeren, managing committee member, were the resource persons of the day, an update stated.
The IRCSN organised first aid training for the managing committee members, staff of IRCSN and tenants of Red Cross Complex.
The training empowered individuals with knowledge and confidence to respond effectively in any emergency situations. Participants also learned critical techniques to provide immediate assistance and support during emergencies, before the arrival of professional medics.
The training was tailored for the participants to be well prepared to handle medical emergencies within the workplace.
The training also imparted valuable first aid skills to create a safer environment, and to foster a culture of preparedness and responsibilities, it stated.
