IRCS Nagaland launches Pfutsero sub-branch

DIMAPUR — The Indian Red Cross Society, Nagaland state branch (IRCSN), inaugurated a new sub-branch in Pfutsero under Phek district on Saturday with its general secretary, Akhale V Khamo, as the special guest.

An update from IRCSN stated that Khamo spoke on the Red Cross’s history and fundamental principles and also highlighted the importance of youth and junior Red Cross in fostering community service among young people.

It mentioned that the new Pfutsero sub-branch would enhance IRCSN’s reach in the region, thereby offering health services, emergency response and youth engagement programmes to support local communities.
