IRCS Kohima campaigns against Covid-19

Members of Indian Red Cross Society, Kohima branch, are seen during the state-wide campaign against Covid-19 on November 27.

Dimapur, Nov. 27 (EMN): Kohima district branch of the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) participated in the state-wide special programme on Covid-19 on November 27 on the theme "Together we can defeat Covid-19".

To mark the programme, IRCS Kohima district distributed around 1000 face masks, soap and pamphlet on Covid-19 awareness.

The district unit honourary secretary T Louis Solo stated that the programme was launched by Atuolie Mepfhiiuo, chairman of High School Colony, Kohima, under KMC Ward No. 1.

He added that the free mask sponsored by IRCS Nagaland state branch and soaps by Nestle company were distributed to street vendors, butchers and traffic personnel on duty. He further stated that office bearers, managing committee members and IRCS Kohima  volunteers participated in the programme.
