iQoo 11 5G with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 to launch in India

Vivo sub-brand, iQoo, is set to launch the iQoo 11 5G in India on January 10, 2023. The company has already revealed some details about the upcoming device including the specifications, price, and colour options ahead of the launch.

The launch event will be streamed online and available for viewing from 12 pm. The iQoo 11 5G is already available in China and is expected to have very similar hardware and design to the Chinese version.

The iQoo 11 5G will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, which is the latest and most powerful processor from Qualcomm. It will also feature 256GB of internal storage and up to 16GB of UFS 4.0 RAM, which is the fastest memory configuration currently available for smartphones. The phone will be equipped with a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a 1440×3200 pixel resolution and a high refresh rate of 144Hz, which will provide smooth and fluid visuals for gaming and video playback.

In terms of camera performance, the iQoo 11 5G will have a triple camera setup on the back, consisting of a 50MP primary sensor, a 13MP portrait sensor, and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. This camera system will be able to capture high-resolution photos and videos with excellent detail and dynamic range. The phone will also have a front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

The iQoo 11 smartphone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 120-watt fast charging support.

The iQoo 11 5G will be available in Legend and Alpha colour options and is expected to be priced at INR 55,000 to INR 60,000. It will be the first smartphone in India to launch with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and the fastest memory configurations currently available, making it a strong contender in the premium smartphone market. It is expected to compete with the OnePlus 11 and Samsung Galaxy S23 series in the Indian market.
