Investiture ceremony conducted at Sainik School Punglwa

Dimapur, May 2 (EMN): In accordance with the tradition of the school, an investiture ceremony was conducted at Sainik School, Punglwa on May 2 which was presided over by Group Captain Sanjay Gaekwad, Principal Sainik School Punglwa.
A total of 39 cadets were reposed with the responsibility of school appointments, House Captains and House vice Captains for 6 mother houses and 4 holding houses. These appointments are given to the Cadets who have excelled in their performance in various school activities. The appointment exposes them to inculcate leadership qualities for the smooth conduct of various activities, to espouse confidence and a sense of responsibility among them. Cadet Tokhuo Humtose of Class XII was appointed as the School Captain for the session 2017-18. Squadron leader Sanjeev Kumar Chaudhary, Vice Principal Sainik School Punglwa administered the oath to the newly appointed School Captain, House Captains and House vice Captains.
The Principal in his address to the cadets exhorted them to lead by examples in all activities and to be responsible in all spheres of activities. He also highlighted to the cadets on good qualities of a leadership.
