DIMAPUR — Anitet Early Intervention Centre, a collaborative project of Keystone Education Society, Charis Educational Society and Aoyimti Baptist Church, was inaugurated on October 14 at Shisamolu Taklang, Aoyimti Baptist Church, Dimapur.
An update from the centre stated that pastor Temsu Jamir gave the keynote address, while speeches were also delivered by Lanusongla, president of Keystone Education Society; Ayo Aier, administrator of Charis High Academy; and T Merang Aier, deacon of Aoyimti Baptist Churcher, Dimapur.
It stated that various speakers have stressed on the need to facilitate children with learning disabilities and difficulty in learning. It mentioned that the mission was to provide specialised early intervention support services for children with special needs.
Stating that every child deserves the best possible start in life, it stated that the team is committed to helping special needs children become school-ready, and prepare them to learn together with peers in regular schools.
The programme was chaired by Imtisunep, associate youth pastor, while the invocation and benediction prayer were said by the church deacon, Imlisashi, and associate women pastor, Yashila, respectively.
