Dimapur, Sep. 25 (EMN): Intersectoral convergence meeting on dengue was held at DC’s conference hall on Sep. 22. Chairing the meeting DC Dimapur, Kesonyu Yhome emphasised on the importance of the issue and said that the essence of the meeting is to work out and to bring preventive measures. He also mentioned that the district administration will try the best possible way to reach out to the public in various ways. Once every community extent their cooperation most problems will be solved, DC added. Welcome address was delivered by CMO Dimapur. Presentation on overview on dengue and malaria was presented by Joint Director & SPO, NVBDCP Dr. Kevichusa Medikhru. Power point presentation on lab procedures was presented by SSH Dimapur Dr. Temsu while MD DH Dimapur Dr. Ngopelo presented on clinical management and Assistant Director UVBDS (NVBDCP) on vector control measure.
