Interim team of LBCA ordained
Wokha, March 28 (EMN): An interim administration team of Lotha Baptist Churches Association (LBCA) for a period of six months was ordained at Kohima Lotha Baptist Church on Monday.
The venue was scheduled to be at Vankhosung HQ of LBCA but was later shifted to Kohima Lotha Baptist Church after Deputy Commissioner of Wokha, Orenthung Lotha issued an order on March 27, informing not to hold any programme ‘in order to avoid any unfortunate incident and to maintain peace in the district and at the Vankhosung area’.
Chairman of Lotha Hoho Mhondamo Ovung, during the programme said: “This is a revolution for the Lothas” and called the pastors and reverends of various churches to pave way for righteousness.
He called the Lotha leaders to lead the way with determination in leading their people.
He also called the congregation and church leaders to lead an exemplary life and practice what they preach.
Ovung further urged the congregation to support and encourage the interim leaders to bring justice.
Rev. Zanao Mozhui and Dr. Ezamo Murry were ordained as the president and executive secretary respectively, along with other members to the new interim administration of LBCA.
