A three-day Mokokchung district Inter Government Higher Secondary and High School tournament began Tuesday at Imkongmeren Sports Complex, Mokokchung. Delivering the introductory note, Deputy DEO, Mokokchung, Rowainla stated that it is an important annual event which enables students and teachers from different schools within the district to come together to compete and learn from each other. She asserted that not all can win but can also be a winner by giving their best in every event they participate. She further called upon the participants to take the tournament as an opportunity to try learning important lessons for life.
Altogether, 11 schools of Mokokchung district are participating in the tournament.
