Inter-school debate competition held on ‘inclusive education’
Dimapur, June 10 (EMN): A total of eight schools participated in the inter-school debate competition organised by Hollotoli School, Dimapur on June 8. The participants battled on the topic “Inclusive education is a noble idea, but not practical” in the competition.
An update from the host (Hollotoli School) informed that Kivikali Yeptho and Tongtien Longchar of DPS, Dimapur were declared winner, while Koti Thurr and Gilgal Ikror Horam of Hollotoli School won the second prize, and Animika and Debosree of Army Public School, Rangpahar were placed in 3rd position. Gilgal Horam of Hollotoli School was awarded the best interjector.
The winners were chosen by a panel of judges, namely Vitono Harulu, Founder and Director Path Finders Trust, Nagaland; Beni Seb, M.Phil Psychology in Inclusive Education and children with special needs; and Kvulo Lorin, Director Tetso College.
The participants, guest teachers, students and the host school had an exhaustive discussion on the topic over the lunch, added the update.
