Inter-district movement restriction to continue in Mokokchung

Mokokchung, Aug. 30 (EMN):
Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung Limawabang Jamir has informed that restriction on inter-district movement would continue till further order.

In an order issued on Saturday, Jamir stated that there would be no restriction for vehicles bound for other districts transiting through Mokokchung and on intra-district movement.

The order stated that inter-district movement of vehicles would be permitted only in case of medical emergencies and government officials on duty with due written permission from the district administration.

The order also stated that restriction on inter-state vehicular movement through Tzutapela and Watiyongpang gates would remain closed except those vehicles with due written permission from the Home department and with written permission from the district administration and those commercial vehicles carrying essential commodities and goods.

It further informed that movement of commercial vehicles carrying essential commodities and goods across Tzutapela and Watiyongpang gates would continue as per the earlier order issued on July 25.
