Dimapur, Nov. 27 (EMN): The 2nd Inter-College Basketball Tournament, for men and women, organised by Immanuel College concluded on Wednesday, November 27. The tournament was a two-day event.
Altogether six colleges namely Immanuel College, St John College, Kohima Science College, Unity College, and Pranabananda Women’s College, took part in the tournament, an update that was received here on Wednesday stated.
Kohima Science College emerged the champions in both the men’s and women’s category, followed by Unity College as runners-up in the men’s category; and St. John College in the women’s category.
The champions of either category were awarded INR 10000 along with trophies and certificates.
The runners-up were awarded with a cash prize of INR 5000 each.
The top scorers were Veduo Lea (men’s category) and Lelevinuo Kere (women’s category) from Kohima Science College. They were awarded with a cash prize of INR 1000 and certificates of merit.
