Inspire Research award: Schools asked to nominate students

The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Nagaland has informed all schools in Nagaland, both private-run and government-run, to compulsorily nominate three children each from Middle Schools and five children from Secondary Schools for the Innovation in Science and pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE) award.

This was notified through a press release issued by the director of SCERT, Nagaland, Vipralhou Kesiezie on Sunday. “They are to indicate priority for the children nominated from priority No-1 to 5 studying in Class -6 to Class 10 as per the system requirement.

“Once the children are nominated, Ministry of Science and Technology, Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi will send Rs 5000/- each in the account of the two children chosen out of the five nominated by the respective Schools. These two will compete in the Science exhibition and project competition in the District level. The DEO office will announce the date of the competition. The last date of nomination is extended to 31st August 2015,” it informed.

 

Simple steps for INSPIRE nomination.

 

Step 1. Do one Time Registration for the School (OTR) following instructions given below.

Log on to the website: www.inspireawards-dst.gov.in  and click school authority and proceed to online registration by filling the information with regard to the number of children, teachers, e-mail , etc. and forward it to the District Authority for approval.

–              The DST team will send  user ID and Password to your email entered during registration (use it to log on for nomination)

 

Step 2. In the above website Log in with the ID and password provided after  registration and nominate the children for the INSPIRE awards with the IFSC number  of the bank along with the bank accounts and of the children in any Nationalised Bank with net banking facility.
