INR 2190 lakh allocated to DTFs — Nagaland Health minister

Minister of Health and Family Welfare (H&FW) S Pangnyu Phom said that the department had allocated a total of INR 88.65 lakh to various district task forces for management of quarantine centres.

The minister said this while presenting a report during the sixth session of the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly on Thursday.

According to Phom, INR 34.16 lakh has been sanctioned to K Badze, INR 27.39 lakh to Meriema, INR 10.61 lakh to Chedema and INR 1.74 lakh to ATI quarantine centres in Kohima district respectively, while INR 10.75 lakh and INR 4.00 lakh were allotted to CCC, SIFHW, Dimapur and Okhe in Kiphire districts respectively.

The minister also stated that a total amount of INR 2101.403 lakh was sanctioned from NSDMA Home department to the 11 district task forces against quarantine centres for management and operational.

For this, he said an amount of INR 513.351 lakh has been sanctioned to Dimapur, INR 250 lakh to Empowered Group Dimapur, INR 199.125 lakh to Kohima, INR 163.019 lakh to Ganeshnagar quarantine centre, INR 130 lakh to Mon; 112.751 lakh to Empowered Group Nagaland, INR 95 lakh to Peren, INR 53.057 lakh to Tuensang, INR 35 lakh each to Mokokchung, Phek, Wokha and Zunheboto and INR 25 lakh each to Kiphire and Longleng.

For the preparation of quarantine centres and other expenditures such as electrification and water supply, and frontline workers, INR 395.099 lakh was sanctioned, he said.

Phom also informed that a total amount of INR 688.17 lakh which have been released to various district hospitals and chief medical officers (CMO) includes Community health centres and primary health centres.

An amount of INR 45.98 lakh has been sanctioned to CMO Dimapur, INR 45.87 lakh to CMO Kohima, INR 37.97 lakh to CMO Mokokchung, INR 35.83 lakh to CMO Mon, INR 35.49 lakh to CMO Tuensang, INR 29.31 lakh to CMO Wokha, INR 28.58 lakh to CMO Zunheboto, INR 28.19 lakh to CMO Phek, INR 26.30 lakh to CMO Kiphire, INR 25.96 to CMO Longleng, INR 24.70 lakh to CMO Peren and INR 5 lakh to CHC Jalukie.

An amount of INR 86.36 lakh was allotted to District Hospital Dimapur; INR 18 lakh to District Hospital Longleng; INR 17 lakh to District Hospital Mokokchung; INR 13.00 lakh to District Hospital Mon; INR 11 lakh to District Hospital Tuensang, INR 10 lakh to District Hospital Kiphire, INR 4 lakh to District Hospital Peren, and INR 8 lakh each to district hospitals in Wokha, Zunheboto and Phek.

He also informed that INR 128.11 lakh was given to Naga Hospital Authority, Kohima, INR 4.50 lakh to MS TB Hospital, Khuzama and INR 3 lakh to MS TB Hospital, Mokokchung.
