INR 2.9 crore sanctioned for sub-treasury office in Chozuba

Dimapur, Sep. 22 (EMN): Nagaland Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio, informed that a total amount of INR 2,97,26,285 has been sanctioned for the construction of sub-treasury office in Chozuba under Phek district.

He was replying to an unstarred question from MLA Chotisuh Sazo during the 12th session of the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly in Kohima on September 22. He stated that work order has been allotted to M/s CK Enterprise.

When asked whether the notice inviting tender (NIT) was issued for work, he replied that that short tender notice was issued after approval from the office of chief engineer on August 23, 2021. He added that NIT was called via order on August 24, 2021, and the same was pasted on the office notice board.

In another starred question from MLA Yitachu, on the total number of National Eligibility Test (NET) seats allotted to Nagaland, minister of Higher Education, Temjen Imna Along, replied that NET is a national level exam to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for assistant professors in colleges and universities and that there was no number of seat allotment to any state in India.

“A candidate after passing NET exam is eligible to apply for the post of assistant professor in any university or college in India,” he added.
