INR 11.36 cr. sanctioned for Sakhi-one stop centres in Nagaland so far, says Chief Minister

Kohima, Feb. 16 (EMN): Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, who is also the minister in-charge of Social Welfare department, said that INR 11.36 crore has been sanctioned by the Ministry of Women and Child Development, GoI, under Nirbhaya fund for Sakhi-one stop centre scheme with effect from 2015-16 till date.
He was replying to MLA Dr. Chumbem Murry’s starred question on how much Nagaland has received under Nirbhaya fund for one stop centres (Sakhi).
The chief minister informed that a total of 11 Sakhi-one stop centres, one each in the districts of Dimapur, Kohima, Kiphire, Longleng, Mokokchung, Mon, Peren, Phek, Tuensang, Wokha and Zunheboto are functional in the state.
He added that construction of buildings for such centres in Dimapur and Kohima has been completed.
