The Innovation Hub and Space Education Centre under the department of Science and Technology organised summer hobby camp at Nagaland Science Centre in Dimapur
DIMAPUR — The Innovation Hub and Space Education Centre under the department of Science and Technology organised summer hobby camp at Nagaland Science Centre in Dimapur on Thursday on the theme “Explore the possibilities-reduce and reuse.”
An update from the department stated that the hobby camp was intended to exercise critical thinking and practical problem-solving skills, to tap the creativity of young minds and to promote and encourage local innovation by means of reusing and reducing scraps and common pollutants like plastic bottles, polythene bags etc.
It stated that students from 11 schools from Dimapur and Chümoukedima districts attended the hobby camp. The participating schools are Christian Higher Secondary School; Government Higher Secondary School, Purana Bazaar; New Horizon School; Vison Home Higher Secondary School; Greenwood Higher Secondary School; River Belt School; Woodstock School; Lorna’s Higher Secondary School; Christina Memorial Higher Secondary School; Zakiesato Memorial Higher Secondary School; and Assembly of God Higher Secondary School.
