Inner Wheel Club constructs waiting shed

Dimapur, July 11 (EMN): Inner Wheel Club (IWC), Dimapur, has constructed and donated a waiting shed to the public of Dimapur at Dhobinala auto stand.

The waiting shed was constructed under the supervision of its immediate past president, Sanjukta Bhattacharjee, secretary Nidhi Modi, and treasurer Shobha Jain, an update from the club stated.

Delivering the welcome address, Sanjukta Bhattacharjee, informed how she took over the task of constructing a waiting shed. She urged the public to contribute for 'Clean and Green Dimapur'. The newly elected president, Mamta Bucha, and the secretary, Nidhi Modi, highlighted the activities undertaken by the club.

ADC of Dimapur, Atokhe, and the DMC administrator, Albert Ezung, graced the function as the chief guest and guest of honour respectively. Both the officials have appreciated the work of Inner Wheel Club and encouraged them to undertake more of such activities in future.

Atokhe has particularly urged the autorickshaw drivers to take responsibility for the maintenance of the waiting shed. He also added that the citizens should help the administration to take care of the public property.

Head GB of Zeliangrong village and the president of Rotary Club of Dimapur along with his members also attended the programme.
