Dimapur, May 3: As a result of cyclone Fani, Indigo flight services—to and fro Dimapur-Kolkata—will be cancelled on Saturday, May 4.
In the meanwhile, Dimapur airport authorities on Friday dismissed the widely circulated report on social media platforms that the Dimapur airport would be closed down.
The director of Dimapur airport, Mughavi Zhimo, told Eastern Mirror on Friday that the news was fake.
Zhimo said that the airport will continue to be operational and requested the public to avoid having misconception that the airport will be closed.
Even the local chopper services will continue to operate in the state, he informed.
