Indigenous Music Fest held at Senapati

WITH the dusk setting in on 15th September ,Senapati’s music lovers gathered at Senapati Mini Stadium to enjoy live music during the ‘Indigenous Music Fest’ with Abani, United Naga President as guest of honor who was accompanied by the executive members of UNC.The festival was organised by NE Rhythm Network in collaboration with Senapati District Students Association and Senapati Music Society (SMS) and sponsored by North East Zone Cultural Centre, Dimapur with an aim to promote and encourage the people in folk fusion and indigenous music in the region and create awareness on the changing trend of genre and flexibility of modern technical advancement in the field of music, modernization of indigenous music and adaption of indigenous musical instruments in modern musical trends .
The fest was featured by one of the country’s top folk fusion band Abiogenesis from Nagaland along with SDSA Voice Hunt 2012 winners and an upcoming well known band Lost & Found from Senapati.
