[caption id="attachment_276795" align="aligncenter" width="500"] Seen in the picture are members of Indian navy motorcycle rally team on their arrival in Kohima on October 12.[/caption] Dimapur, Oct. 13 (EMN): An Indian navy motor cycle rally team dubbed as ‘The Sea Riders’ arrived at IGAR headquarters in Kohima on October 11. The team consisted of 12 riders led by Rear Admiral PG Phillipose, Flag Officer of Goa Area and Flag Officer Naval Aviation, under Western Naval Command. An update from a defence release stated that the team would cover a total distance of 3060 kms traversing all seven sisters of the Northeast from October 2 to the 26th. The rally, which commenced from Guwahati, has travelled to Tawang, Kaziranga National Park and Majuli. It stated that the team had traversed through some treacherous roads under extremely hostile weather conditions. In a show of synergy between the Indian navy and Assam Rifles, the rally was flagged-in by all officers of HQ IGAR (North), the release added.
