India Myanmar Thailand friendship motor rally culminates
Dec. 2 : The India Myanmar Thailand Friendship Motor Rally organised that started from New Delhi on November 13 reached Bangkok and it was formally concluded at a function held at Bangkok on Friday with the Indian Ambassador to Thailand as the Chief Guest.
The event was organised in view of the Trilateral Motor Vehicle Agreement between the three countries to create awareness on the motor ability of the road, encourage cultural and trade ties including tourism.
The rally consisted of participants from Delhi, Ranchi, West Bengal, Orissa, Assam, Nagaland and Manipur in India and from Myanmar and Thailand. The State Governments that officially participated in the rally were Nagaland, Manipur and West Bengal.
Hiazu Meru and Kethosituo Sekhose represented the State of Nagaland in the rally.
The rally was organised by the India Chamber of Commerce and Kalinga Motor Sports Association and supported by MORTH Government of India.
