Dimapur, Oct. 8 (EMN): The Civil Society Organisations’ Core Committee against shifting of DC Office Dimapur has said that it will continue to protest “indefinitely with intense approach” till the government of Nagaland revokes the September 7 order.

The committee informed through an update that the deputy commissioner of Dimapur had called on its members at his office to deliberate on the issue on Friday and verbally conveyed that the government had put the order on hold.

The DC also assured that “no branch/cell shall be shifted from the present office”. However, the committee said that it would continue to stage sit-in till the order is cancelled through an official notification.

The Home department had informed the same on Wednesday, stating that the government has decided to put its recent order for ‘shifting of branches/cells to new Deputy Commissioner’s Office Complex, Chümoukedima’ on hold amid protest by various organisations.
