Indebted to the Word

“ How can I repay the Lord for all his goodness to me?”
“I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.”
“ Direct my footsteps according to your word; let not sin rule over me.”
“ Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.”

For as much as we are aware of our former vileness, wed know how much the Lord has been good to us. if we were to count it, it would not be possible and tears would be the best answer to it. The word indebted means everything we accomplish we owe it to God. Thus as God loves us so much, should we betray his faithfulness or should be like Gomer whose heart was always with adultery and sin. The Lord’s people must know that God detest sin and as His elected , we must be driven towards love and faithfulness.

For as we know we are weak in ourselves, we are certainly not in Christ. The Lord’s anointed will always fight for God as the disciples did and we see it clearly even in our relationship with the truth. The point is this: If we are faithful we are, if we are not, we are not, wed know ourselves. So the core issue in this message is that our relationship should get better as our passion for the truth increases. The word is our guide and Saviour.

(Psalm 116:12) (Psalm 119:11)  (119:33) (119:105)
