
Dimapur, March 29 (EMN): An assessment camp on inclusive education for children with special needs was conducted in Phek district on March 22 and 23.
The camps were held at Chozuba, Pfutsero, Phek and Meluri.
An update on Monday informed that the camp was organised for children between 6 – 18 years (both schooling and non-schooling).

It stated that the camp was assessed by a team of specialists headed by officials from the State Mission Authority, Samagra Shiksha, Nagaland. It informed that 26 children received hearing aids on the sport; it added that 109 spectacles, two artificial limbs, several ankle – foot orthotic and hand splints were expected to be received soon.
It also expressed appreciation to Kevileno Angami, special secretary for School Education, SCERT and Temsunaro Aier, State Mission Director, NEMS Samagra Shiksha, Nagaland for their tireless efforts.
