Important to uphold virtues and traditions with paradigm shifts in society — KG Kenye

Dimapur, Oct. 8 (EMN): Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha KG Kenye emphasised on the importance of upholding one’s virtues and traditions with the paradigm shifts that take place in society.

He was speaking at the inauguration of St. John Hr. Sec Residential School auditorium on September 28 funded through the MP LAD Fund 2017-2018 by MP KG Kenye, an update informed.

Kenye spoke on the journey of the Nagas, and the progress that has been made in leaps and bounds. He said that educators were the core of any society, encouraging teachers to move along with the changing times.

An update informed that a programme was held for a small group due to Covid -19 protocols and the inaugural function was ‘short but impactful’.

It said that chairman of the school appreciated guest of honour KG Kenye for his contribution to help bring this dream to fruition.

Meanwhile, the director made a presentation on the future of the auditorium, highlighting that education and technology go hand in hand.

It said that the auditorium would be used for a variety of purposes that would encourage both educators and learners to be at par with the world. It mentioned that the Hall would also be utilised to strengthen the spirituality of students, while also used to conduct not just state level but national and international level seminars.
