Importance of hand-washing programme held in Mokokchung

Mokokchung, July 17 (EMN): The Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Mokokchung division conducted an Information Education Communication (IEC) programme on "Importance of hand washing with soap during Covid-19 everyday,” at Settsu and Chami village in Mokokchung district on Friday. The programme was sponsored by the Sanitation and WSSO, PHED.

The event was organised with an aim to encourage people to inculcate the habit of hand-washing using soap, an update informed.

IEC pamphlets on hand-washing written in local dialect and soap were distributed to every household. The event was attended by village council members, Watsan and Swachhagrahi members.
