Imperial & Renegades enter next round of Winter Cricket Challenge

Wokha, Dec.22: Imperial and Renegades team were the two teams who were able to beat their respective opponents that was played on Thursday to enter the next round of the tournament in the ongoing Winter Cricket Challenge at Wokha.
In the first match of day four, Imperial defeated Blue Hill Youth Organization (BHYO) by 3 wickets in 19 overs to reach the target of 117.
BHYO had earlier won the toss and elected to bat but could manage only 116 runs in 19.3 overs all out.
Abemo Kikon a senior of Imperial was declared the Man of the match striking 53 runs with his willow that included 8 fours and 2 sixes in his 45 ball innings. In the second match Renegades Cricket Club thrashed Mt. Tiyi Colony Cricket Club (MTCCC) by a massive score of 116 runs in just 17.3 overs to claim the match.
Renegades CC won the toss and opted to bat first with 206 runs to win in 20 overs.
There was a comeback from Team Mt.Tiyi CCC but then the wickets fell like a pack of cards only to gather 90 runs in 17.3 overs with all wickets down.
Mr. Nayan Hazarika 43 not out was declared the Man of the Match who faced 28 balls and scoring 5 fours and 2 sixes and also claimed 3 big wickets giving just 27 runs in his 4 overs spell.
Renben Murry & Romokhan contributed 41 & 46 to the Renegades giving a huge win over Mt. Tiyi CCC by 116 Runs.
