Dimapur, June 23 (EMN): Immanuel College in Dimapur organised a Christian spiritual awakening-themed programme, on June 21 in the college’s campus.
The theme of the event was "Remember your creator in the days of your youth," updates stated.
Rev. Kilang Jamir, director of Youth Harvest Ministry at Naga United Village in Dimapur, was the speaker of the programme.
In the first session, the speaker stressed on repentance and to accept the living Christ as their personal saviour to be saved.
The first session began with praise and worship led by the Youth Harvest team.
The session was led by assistant professor Moanaro Jamir, department of Political Science, while the scripture reading and prayer was led by Gokwang, warden.
In the afternoon session, the speaker emphasised on the theme of remembering God the creator in the days of their youth.
Stressing on the importance of spiritual needs, he encouraged the students to take absolute care of not only their soul but their body also as it is the temple of God, where he lives.
The church leader exhorted them to use it according to God’s will.
Further, the church leader urged the students to first prioritise improving their relationship with God by submitting and surrendering themselves entirely to the living God, the updates stated.
