DIMAPUR — The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Sunday noted a persisting cyclonic circulation over Nagaland and its neighbouring states, extending up to 1.5 kilometres above mean sea level.
This weather is expected to bring scattered to fairly widespread light to moderate rainfall over Nagaland and other parts of Northeast India over the next five days, the IMD stated in its daily weather bulletin.
It said that heavy rainfall is likely in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura from July 14 to the 16th.
Similar weather conditions will prevail at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh from July 14 to the 17th, while Assam, Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, and Bihar will receive heavy rainfall on July 14 and the 15th, it said.
