IMA Manipur joins nationwide protest

Our Correspondent Imphal, Sep. 3 (EMN): The Indian Medical Association (IMA) of Manipur state branch joined the nationwide protest against the assault on a senior doctor of Assam, who later succumbed to his injuries by observing a candle light vigil on Tuesday. Prior to candle light vigil, a floral tribute ceremony was also organised at the photograph of the departed soul of Dr. Dutta at the IMA Manipur Premises at Lamphelpat in Imphal. Endorsing the declaration of IMA headquarters as a day of solidarity and silent mourning on September 3, IMA Manipur members and doctors fraternity wear black badges and observed solemn mourning in the morning.
