IGNOU term-end exam from Sep. 17

Dimapur, Sep. 15 (EMN): The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has announced the commencement of June term-end examination for final year students from September 17 to October 16.

The university has set up 718 examination centres including 59 centres in jail for inmates, it informed.

Hall ticket (examination intimation slips) has been issued to final year students (masters, bachelors, diploma and certificate programmes) as per July 22 notification issued by the university to those who have applied and are found eligible for appearing in the term-end examination. Students can download the hall tickets from the university website (www.ignou.ac.in).

The examination centres have been instructed to allow students to appear the examination even if they do not possess the hall ticket but their names are in the examinees’ list for the centre. Examination centres and students have been directed to follow the Covid-19 standard operating procedure, guidelines and safety measures issued by the government of India.

Students are advised to be in possession of the valid identity card issued by the university or government.
