Dimapur, Aug. 1 (EMN): An orientation programme for 26th batch of Agricultural Extension Training (AET) was organised by Integrated Extension Training Institute (IETC), Medziphema, on August 1.
A detailed run through of the rules and regulations of the training institute were imparted to the trainees by Dr. Watimongla Jamir, vice principal and academic in-charge, and Dr. Beremjungla, lecturer and girls’ warden IETC, a press release received here on Wed nesday stated.
Dr. I Amenla spoke on the subject matters and explained the nature of each subject while additional director of Agriculture, Henry Zeliang, department, reiterated the importance of taking advantage of the two years training programme to be able to contribute to the department in the best way. He also gave a brief summary of the objectives of the AET which the trainees would have to adhere to.
