DIMAPUR — Investment and Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN) has set up a dedicated cell to facilitate the Chief Minister’s Micro Finance Initiative (CMMFI) of the state government.
The cell would be assisted by CMMFI Cell, which would monitor, assist and provide hand-holding support to all the intending beneficiaries including farmers, entrepreneurs, startups and business communities, to avail the banking-related benefits provided by the government, an official update stated.
The deputy commissioners and all nodal departments could also avail of the services pertaining to CMMFI through the CMMFI Cell at IDAN. The applications received directly in CMMFI Cell would be routed to the respective bank/ nodal agency after addressing necessary support for hand-holding and DPR preparation, it informed.
The CMMFI Cell would provide free-of-cost services such as CMMFI loan assistance for farmers and entrepreneurs, DPR preparation and vetting, banking and financial literacy, awareness on government sponsored schemes, bank account opening and related issues, banking facilities and other additional support.
