DIMAPUR — The Investment and Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN) has expressed gratitude to the Vice President of India, Jagdeep Dhankar, for his “hearty congratulations” on the success of the Bloom Bazaar.

Bloom Bazaar, a vibrant and forward-looking initiative spearheaded by the IDAN, heralded its grand debut on September 29. The ceremonial launch was graced by the Chairman of IDAN, Abu Metha, and inaugurated on September 30 by the Neiphiu Rio.

“In the wake of this remarkable inauguration, a message of hearty congratulations was rendered on October 1, 2023, from the Vice President of India, Jagdeep Dhankar. As per IDAN, Dhankar lauded the multifaceted nature of Bloom Bazaar, recognising it as a captivating mosaic that will showcase not only Nagaland's diverse flora and fauna but also its rich tapestry of indigenous music, handloom, handicrafts, culinary delights, and fashion.

The vice president also fondly reminisced about his visit to Nagaland during the Hornbill Festival in 2022, where he was captivated by the spectacular display of art, music, culture, and tradition etched vividly in his memory.

Further, Dhankar in his message expressed unwavering confidence that this visionary initiative would place Nagaland on the national tourism map, rendering it an enticing hub for both tourism and investment.

Bloom Bazaar’s ambition goes even further, aspiring to evolve into a self-sustaining model over time, fostering growth and prosperity for Nagaland, it stated.

“This transformative project promises to illuminate Nagaland’s cultural brilliance and natural splendour, drawing visitors and investors alike while nurturing the State's journey towards India’s greater goal of achieving ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ and ‘Viksit Bharat,’” it added.
