IDAN chairman pursues collaborations with Germany

DIMAPUR — Advisor to Nagaland Chief Minister and chairman of Investment and Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN), Abu Metha, held a meeting with Barbara Voss, the Consul General of Germany, in New Delhi on Saturday.

Metha was accompanied by Theja Meru, chairman of the Task Force for Music and Arts (TaFMA), while Voss was joined by her colleague, Isha Malhotra.

A DIPR report stated that the meeting centered on various strategies aimed at bolstering ties and fostering collaborations between the two entities. It added that the discussions included ideas pertaining to partnerships in culture, music and youth activities as well as enhancing people-to-people contact and exploring potential investment opportunities.

During the meeting, Metha conveyed warm greetings from the Nagaland Chief Minister to the newly appointed Consul General and extended his best wishes for a successful tenure.

Meanwhile, Theja Meru provided an overview of Nagaland’s music and creative arts scene, shedding light on the numerous opportunities and potential partnerships for the future.

Abu Metha expressed his confidence that the meetings and deliberations would yield positive outcomes in the near future. He also acknowledged the fruitful exchange of exciting ideas and collaborative possibilities during the discussions. He extended his appreciation to the German Consulate for their positive and welcoming approach.
