ICSE, ISC Board Exam 2020 update

Dimapur, May 3 (EMN): According to the latest notice released by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), the pending exams for class 10 and 12 students will be held by the board soon. The board’s notification also states that a notice of 8 days will be given to the students before resumption of the exams after release of the date sheet.

14 pending exams to be held soon

According to the notice, a total of 14 exams are currently pending for the students of the CISCE Board. For ICSE or class 10 students, the pending exams are to be held for Geography – HCG Paper 2, Biology – Science Paper 2, Economics – Group III Elective, and Hindi and Art Paper 6. Similarly, exams for 8 subjects are pending for ISC or class 12 students for Biology – Paper 1, Business Studies, Geography, Sociology, Psychology, Home Science Paper 1, Elective English and Art Paper. According to the notice, CISCE is working on releasing the date sheet for conducting these examinations and will notify the same to the students soon.

6 to 8 days’ notice for students before exams

CISCE notified that it would give prior notice of six to eight days to the students before restarting the exams. The ICSE and ISC board exams would therefore commence after around a week (including Saturdays and Sundays) once the revised date sheet for pending exam papers is released.

ICSE, ISC results 2020 after 6 weeks

In the light of the delayed conduct of CISCE Board Exam 2020, the board has said that it will take around 6 to 8 weeks to complete the evaluation process and declare the results. No  official date has been conveyed by the board yet.
