ICFAI University Nagaland celebrates World Literacy Day

DIMAPUR — With an aim to create awareness about the importance of literacy and education, promote reading habits, and underscore the role of universities in fostering a culture of lifelong learning, the ICFAI University Nagaland celebrated World Literacy Day on Friday.

Students participated in several events like poetry reading, speech, act and video presentations during the programme, according to an update from the university.

“They emphasised on the importance of literacy and encouraged community involvement to create an inclusive society of learning and literacy,” read the update, adding that the collective effort put towards making the event a resounding success would make a positive impact on literacy initiatives and future educational endeavours.
