Independence Day football tournament was organised at Hebron, Council Headquarters (CHQ) wherein 12 villages participated. The tournament was witnessed a fierce battle played between GFTHQ (General Field Training Headquarters) and Black Hawk, Hebron on Wednesday with Yaruiwo , GPRN, Isak Chishi Swu gracing as chief guest the final match. The match was won by GFTHQ. Alung of GFTHQ was given ‘Best player’ of the match and ‘Best goal keeper’ title for Injan of Black Hawk. The title of ‘Top scorer was adjudged for Alung (GFTHQ) and William of Black Hawk as ‘Best discipline team’ to Zalukiekam, a release informed.
