Independence Day Football Tournament was organised at Hebron, Council Headquarters (CHQ) where 12 villages participated. The final was held on Wednesday with Yaruiwo, GPRN Isak Chishi Swu as the Chief Guest. GFTHQ won the final match which was played between GFTHQ (General Field Training Headquarters) and Black Hawk, Hebron. Alung of GFTHQ was declared the best player, Injan of Black Hawk as the best goal keeper. Alung Alung of Top Scorer goes GFTHQ along with William of Black Hawk was also the top scorer of the tournament.
Zalukiekam was declared the best discipline team.
