Dimapur, Aug. 15 (EMN): The 72nd Independence Day was celebrated at N.F.Railway construction head quarters complex in Maligaon with great enthusiasm. N.K.Prasad, General Manager/Con unfurled the National Tri-color followed by National Anthem and Rashtriya Salute according to a press release received from the PRO NF Railway construction organisation.
He also took salute of the RPF contingent. In his Independence Day speech, he briefed about construction organisation’s performance in the past and various plans for the future and urged upon all for good services.
In the ceremony, a cultural programme was held where patriotic songs and dances performed by the children of staff.
The general manager also inaugurated a SBI ATM counter, two new toilet complex for employees, outsiders visiting room and RPF sitting room in the HQ complex.
